Hopefully this page will help give you a sense of our community, our worship style, and answer all the little details you are wondering about too. We follow a traditional Reformed liturgy but we try to fill it with life, exuberance, and conviction. Each week our phenomenal music director leads us in a wide variety of hymns and other selections. On the first Sunday of the month, we celebrate communion with bread and juice, and everyone is invited to join in the feast. On any given Sunday you will see some people in jeans and a t-shirt or flannel and some people wearing khaki’s or skirts. A few members even wear sport coats or dresses. Come to worship God, not to wear a fancy outfit. We are a community that has a range of backgrounds so we welcome everyone, no matter how much or how little they are dressed up.[\/vc_column_text][\/toggle][toggle color=”Default” heading_tag=”default” heading_tag_functionality=”default” title=”Where to Sit”][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]Our sanctuary does not have reserved seats, so sit anywhere you like! If you have small children, they might benefit from sitting closer to the front so they can see all the wonderful symbols that are a part of our worship. Wherever you sit, you’ll be next to friendly faces who will introduce themselves to you and welcome you to our congregation.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/toggle][toggle color=”Default” heading_tag=”default” heading_tag_functionality=”default” title=”Bathrooms”][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]A family-restroom is located near our “coffee area” on the same level as the sanctuary. \u00a0It is handicap-accessible. \u00a0We also have restrooms located downstairs in our fellowship hall near the coat rack.[\/vc_column_text][\/toggle][toggle color=”Default” heading_tag=”default” heading_tag_functionality=”default” title=”Children”][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]Everyone is welcome in worship, no matter your age! Children are our youngest disciples. They’ll get to see the sights and smells of our sanctuary, watch the candles being lit, and join in the singing. Throughout the service the children are invited to sit and worship with their parents. Having said that –<\/p>\n

We get it.<\/strong> Adults are easily distracted, and some days it’s a challenge to make it to worship with a squirmy two-year old. We can’t promise that it will be easy or that your child won’t contribute to the service loudly during a moment of silence. It happens. But we love you, we love your children, and we WANT you to stay, screams and cries and all. During morning worship, your children are invited to sit, stand, or dance with you as we sing and pray, or they are welcome to sit and color or play with puzzles. You’ll find several activities and toys in the back of the church near the tech booth. Feel free to bring an activity or snack for your child to enjoy during worship too. We would encourage you to refrain from bringing iPads or video games into the worship service. Use the opportunity to sit with your child and teach them about what is going on around them.[\/vc_column_text][\/toggle][toggle color=”Default” heading_tag=”default” heading_tag_functionality=”default” title=”Coffee”][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]We gather for coffee and fellowship before and after church.
